Based on today's forecast, I think Ohio State should have moved the spring game to this evening. There's still time!
Word of the Day: Glom.
CORNERSTONE. We've talked plenty about Dwayne Haskins' Buckeye legacy and how he'll always be remembered as one of the best Ohio State quarterbacks ever who set a new standard for every other Buckeye quarterback that came after him.
But here's something I didn't even think about until yesterday's press conference – if Dwayne Haskins' 2018 season never happened, there's an extremely solid chance Ohio State has a different head coach right now.
When asked if he would be Ohio State's head coach right now if not for Haskins' 2018 season, Day says "probably not."

With how dominant Ohio State has been on offense the past few years, it's extremely easy to forget what the Buckeye offense looked like even just a few years ago.
But the reality is, Haskins almost single-handedly turned Ohio State into one of the most dominant offenses in program history, which in turn led to Ryan Day becoming the next head coach of the Buckeyes.
But it all started with Dwayne Haskins.
SCHEFTY IS SORRY. Adam Schefter must have malfunctioned briefly on Saturday morning when he decided he needed to announce Dwayne Haskins' death by reminding everyone that he "struggled to catch on" in the NFL.
It took him well over 48 hours, but we finally got an apology (which to Schefter's credit, is very thorough).
An apology and a tribute to Dwayne Haskins. pic.twitter.com/QxjShC4ZYu

Here's my thing – of course, I accept Schefter's apology because I don't think he *meant* any harm. My larger concern is that his robot brain is so damn broken by his career pursuits that it legitimately cranked out that first soulless Tweet in the first place.
I don't think "I'm sorry! It won't happen again!" is a realistic fix here.
7 HONORING 7. C.J. Stroud is going to have a chance to honor Dwayne Haskins with his performance in that familiar No. 7 jersey this season, and it looks like that tribute has already begun.
Your legacy will live on big bro https://t.co/Yz72G0rNhj

At first, I thought Ohio State should consider retiring the number, or something like that. But then I realized that there's no better way to honor Dwayne Haskins' memory than absolutely balling out while wearing his old jersey number.
So go win that Heisman, C.J. That jersey number deserves it.
HE AIN'T WRONG. There's nothing quite like brutal honesty.
In this case, we've got 2023 five-star Johntay Cook II making an absolutely incredible (and completely fair!) observation midway through his recent visit to Texas A&M:
5 star WR in the class of 23 [Johntay Cook II] on his recent visit with the Texas A&M Aggies.

He ain't wrong!
Texas A&M hasn't so much as won a division title since 2010, and that was a solid two years before the Aggies even joined the SEC.
So this kid is really just calling it as he sees it. And I respect that.
