The younger sister of former Ohio State star Justin Fields is taking her talents up north.
Jessica Fields, a 6-foot-1 forward in the 2025 recruiting class, announced her commitment to Michigan women’s basketball on Sunday.

Fields chose the Wolverines from a final three of Michigan, Georgetown and Northwestern. She did not report an Ohio State offer.
Fields is entering her senior season at Mount Paran Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia, where she’s helped the Eagles win three straight state championships.
Jessica’s older brother starred at quarterback for the Ohio State football team in 2019 and 2020, earning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year honors in both seasons as he led the Buckeyes to back-to-back Big Ten championship and College Football Playoff berths. Justin Fields is now entering his fourth season in the NFL, where he is competing with Russell Wilson for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ starting job this preseason after they acquired him in a trade with the Chicago Bears.
Jessica will become the third Fields sibling to play college sports for a power-conference school. Jaiden Fields, the middle child of the family, recently completed her college career as a softball player at Georgia, where she earned second-team All-SEC honors in 2023 and helped the Bulldogs make the Super Regionals of the NCAA Tournament in three of her final four seasons.
