Did you know that in college football, players can transfer to a different school, seemingly at will? It sounds crazy, but in fact it is a real thing that happens, and this week on the Dubcast Johnny and George talk about Dan Hope's report on Ohio State's successes both navigating said portal and keeping their own guys out of it. For now!
Part of that might entail replacing Ohio Stadium's field turf with some sweet, sweet Bermuda, and we talk about an issue that might amount to something in the future, particularly with the eyes of Texas moving away from synthetic.
Plus, of course, Ask Us Anything (which you can do by sending us questions to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com), and a shoutout to moms everywhere. But more specifically our moms, who exist in just a few exact locations.
Also:
- Seriously, it probably doesn't get talked about enough how wildly successful Ohio State football has been in the transfer portal, right from the jump
- Best weather? Sweater weather, duh
- Stetson Bennett, super-super-super senior, living his best life
- Waffle House, an American icon
And that'll do it for this week's Dubcast, thanks for listening, checking out the Dry Goods store, and for following us on Twitter! We'll see you next week!
