As 2016 closes, let's take a look back at the year through 11W's lens. Tonight: April.
The Good
- Over 100K fans showed up at Ohio State’s spring game and saw JTB and Cardale's friendly throwing competition. Recruits were thoroughly impressed by everything.
- Jerome Baker was not impressed with the earth's gravitational pull.
- Lots of Buckeyes were at the NFL Draft, and Ohio State's bevy of 1st rounders made a lot of money.
- Ohio State had a player from every positional group taken. Nine strong indeed.
- Torrance Gibson and Malik Hooker - lookin’ good!
- Jim Tressel accepted Urban's invitation to appear at OSU's football camp.
- Emmitt Smith declared new Dallas Cowboy Ezekiel Elliott to be a better back than he was. SMH he hasn’t even played a single down yet. Emmitt really thinks Zeke going to be a pro bowler or NFL MVP in his first year what is he crazy
- Back in Columbus, Jamarco is ready.
THE SAD
- RIP, Will Smith, who was shot eight times and left us too soon.
- Troy Smith got arrested and apologized.
- Blood clots ended Donovan Munger’s football career.
- Not good, Baylor.
HMMM...
- Nobody knows how to quietly dump bad news quite like Alabama.
- Hey whatever happened to Ohio State’s vertical play-action game? Surely that will be fixed for the 2016 season.
- Haters' predictions for Urban's tenure when he quit retirement to coach Ohio State have not aged well.
- Nick Mangold, classic New York sports fan.
- Jack Nicklaus got carded. At Augusta.
- Former 11W Beat Writer Kyle Rowland can see the future:
