As 2016 closes, let's take a look back at the year through 11W's lens. Tonight: September.
The Good
- Welcome to The Edge. You'll like it here.
- Norman was overrun by Buckeye fans and Ohio State rented out Oklahoma’s basketball facility for a pep rally. LEVELS TO THIS. THERE ARE NO ROAD GAMES, JUST FURTHER-AWAY HOME GAMES.
- Baker Mayfield’s backup talked some shit. Whoops.
- Noah Brown went bonkers against Oklahoma.
- Earle Bruce was informed he would get to dot the i which he did at Homecoming.
- Ohio State invaded NFL rosters far and wide, drafted or otherwise.
- Zeke had a 100-yard game! Hey maybe he’ll be a good pro after all.
THE SAD
- Greg Schiano was involved a car accident.
- Tracy Sprinkle’s breakout season ended as quickly as it started.
- Meechy broke his foot.
- Urban's face got a 15-yard penalty for getting windmilled by a ref.
- Danny Clark, longtime Ohio State commit and tattoo-haver, pledged Kentucky.
HMMM...
- More ESPN bias, as ESPN College Gameday chose Florida-Tennessee over Ohio State’s bye week
- Urban opened up about his mental health.
- An Arkansas professor gave Bret Bielema a piece of his mind.
