As 2016 closes, let's take a look back at the year through 11W's lens. Tonight: October.
The Good
- ESPN College Gameday went to Madison and the Buckeyes won in overtime as everyone everywhere watched it. Then they celebrated.
- Joey Bosa finally got in an NFL game and had two sacks. Then he did it again.
- Zeke did a bad thing to an Ohio football team, but it's cool; that's his job now. He also had a nice reunion with the tailback who started at Ohio State before he did.
- Urban was unkind to former assistant Chris Ash when they faced each other for the first time.
- Halfway through the season, Urban decided he loves this team.
THE SAD
- Ohio State lost a game on a day when its walkthrough was held in a Ramada parking lot, because: State College.
-
Urban Meyer’s Call-in Show, but without callers.
Hmmm...
- Braxton Miller once convinced Chicago Cub Kyle Schwarber to quit football; made a shirt about it.
- Indians-Cubs (what?! that really happened?!) in the World Series probably was the reason the start time of Northwestern-Ohio State was moved.
