Defensive back/wide receiver Brad Roby becomes the 17th member of the Buckeyes' 2010 recruiting class. Roby joins safety Chad Hagan as just the second defensive back in the class. Roby gave his word to the Ohio State brass after a weekend visit to Columbus. Auburn and Vandberbilt were also in the mix, which can only mean one thing: Big T11n speeeeeeeeeeed (no seriously, kid runs a non-wind aided 4.4; he go fast).
Roby, who saw time on both sides of the ball at Suwanee (Ga.) Peachtree High (alma matter of one mansome juggernaut we know as Cam Heyward), is expected to focus exclusively on defense in his time in the Scarlet & Gray. A family friend of the Heywards', Roby could also potentially contribute on special teams, as he returned punts and kickoffs for Peachtree High as well. If techno-scored hype videos are your cup of tea, have we got the treat for you. Uber-H/T to Bucknuts and stalker of athletic young teenagers everywhere Bill Kurelic for the exclusive (as per usual, the link is $).
