Ohio State linebacker Joshua Perry underwent surgery for his finger this morning and is expected back following the Buckeyes' bye this weekend.

Although Perry went down with an injury at Purdue Saturday, this surgery addresses a lingering pinky finger issue. Perry confirmed in a message to Eleven Warriors that he should be OK for the Illinois game on Nov. 16.
