Ohio State conquers Chicago with a 31-7 beatdown of Northwestern at Wrigley Field.
Las Vegas is a place for sinners and men who want to get away from their wives to blow their kid's college fund, but the City of Lights went bonkers last night because of a single man's whistle.
Utah was a +5/5.5 underdog against Duke Friday night in the Sweet Sixteen. The Utes trailed for most of the second half before scoring when it didn't matter to cut the deficit to five. But after a missed 3-pointer with under 10 seconds remaining, Duke guard Quinn Cook grabbed the rebound as time ticked away. It looked like he got fouled and then tied up for a jump ball (neither were called) but as he was breaking away a ref blew his whistle as the buzzer sounded. Cook made one of two free throws at the other end with .7 seconds on the clock, and millions of bucks went the other way.
Jump ball? Nahhhhh, but yeah let me call a foul with .7 seconds left. Utah +5/5.5 pic.twitter.com/ozj3IzDImy

It's fair to say they got the call right, but it looked like they were letting the game play out considering Cook got fouled and a jump ball should have been called with about five seconds left. It seemed the guys in stripes were letting it play out, but apparently not.
Either way, don't mess with Vegas.
