Moldovan is the first Buckeye to win a professional golf event since Bo Hoag won the WinCo Farms Portland Open on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2019.
With the win, Moldovan now ranks second in the Fortinet Cup standings. If Moldovan finishes the year in the top 10 or finishes the Latin America Swing in the top two, he’ll earn status on the Korn Ferry Tour next year.
