The North squad, behind a 62-yard touchdown catch from Ohio State commit Parris Campbell, and a stingy defense, topped the South 23-21 in the Division I–III North-South Classic today at Dayton's Welcome Stadium.
South jumped out to a 14-13 lead, but then North quarterback Cody Callaway of Midview found Campbell for the long score with three seconds remaining in the first half.

From there, the North defense took over, only allowing South to advance beyond midfield once in the final 24 minutes of the game.
In the other game, the South held off the North 28-27 in the Division IV–VII battle. It is believed to be the first overtime game in the history of the North-South Game. Ohio State commit Brady Taylor of Ready had a key block on the South squad's winning touchdown.
