Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
CORRECTION: As Bleedscarlet points out in the comments, Cooks' high school, Stockton (Ca.) Lincoln, wears scarlet and gray. We take back all of the mean things we said about him (and the poor P&G intern).
Thursday night was big for former Oregon State wide receiver Brandon Cooks what with the New Orleans Saints selecting him in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Shortly after, Cooks made some quick coin from Tide for a sponsored tweet and shocked the world with news that the Oregon State Beavers actually wear scarlet and gray instead of the orange and black many of us assumed.
There's plenty of blame to go around here, but we'll start with the Procter & Gamble marketing intern that put this tweet together. We'll forgive them, however, because the list they received may have simply said "OSU" and there's only one OSU, despite what the people of Corvallis or Stillwater might think.
On to Cooks. Did he hand over the keys to your Twitter account to Tide? Or did he just copy and paste something sent to you without proofing for small details like school colors? Not a good look, either way.
