ESPN's College Football Twitter account asked us this morning, "Will Wisconsin win more than 9 games this season?" After a quick glance of its schedule... let's hope so.
As the de facto kingpins of the B1G's West division, it would take a disaster to envision a scenario in which the Badgers fail to win 9 games.
Sure, Wisconsin opens up with LSU, a game it will likely lose. But after that? Bowling Green is the toughest opponent on the docket all the way until a mid-November date with Nebraska (whom the Badgers host, natch).
Yeah, I guess South Florida might present a stiff test as well, but that Big Ten slate is brutal.
Unless you're the Badgers, in which case avoiding Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan and Penn State is a stroke of destiny. Somewhere in a cave nestled into the Ozarks, Bert Bielema is shaking his head in disgust.
