Two men walk into a Youngstown bar, grab a few drinks, and almost fall victim to an armed robbery.
It's a story almost as old as Youngstown itself.
Such is the scene painted by Alabama coach Nick Saban during a segment with ESPN. Then only a defensive coordinator at Michigan State, Saban was sitting in Talk of the Town, a Youngstown Bar, during a recruiting trip.
While arguing football with Bob Stoops's uncle — a man robbed the bar with a shotgun. According to Saban, the bartender told the cops not to talk to Stoops or Saban because neither man had seen it.
That is how much the game of football excites Nick Saban.
