Well, another domino in the coaching search circus is gone. Hours after Illinois announced a two-year contract for head football coach Bill Cubit, news leaked of Virginia Tech hiring Memphis' Justin Fuente.
Can confirm Justin Fuente will be the Virginia Tech #Hokies next coach, w/Bud Foster staying on as DC. Announcement expected next week.

Fuente's Memphis is currently up 56-0 on Southern Methodist — at halftime. Fuente is 25-23 as Memphis head coach, a position he held since 2012.
If Fuente needs a director of scouting, well, Marcus Vick is more than ready.
