Columbus police cited four-star Lakeland, Florida, wide receiver James Robinson for possession of Devil's Lettuce while officially visiting Ohio State.
It appeared to throw a fly into the ointment of Robinson's recruitment when the University of Florida administration reportedly refused to clear head coach Jim McElwain to sign Robinson.
Robinson even took to Twitter earlier this week to push back his announcement date:
I will not be signing on NSD!

Something must have changed between Monday night and Wednesday afternoon, because Florida announced the signing of Robinson on National Signing Day:
From Lakeland High School, I'm excited to welcome James Robinson to our @GatorsFB family! #Swamp17 #GoGators pic.twitter.com/zpxDTInQyc

Robinson is the 21st commit of the Gators' 2017 class, which currently ranks 11th nationally.
