Amidst Hurricane Irma's destruction, it is easy to forget that sporting events are still scheduled to be played by teams that have been severely impacted by those events.
One such team, Florida International University (FIU), has had its upcoming game against the Indiana Hooisers canceled for this weekend.
This Saturday's game against FIU has been canceled.

Indiana is currently 1-1, as they took down Virginia over the weekend 34-17. The Hoosiers are attempting to schedule a new home game for Oct. 7, which was their previous by week. FIU is also 1-1, narrowly defeating Alcorn State after being throttled by UCF.
Our thoughts and prayers go out go anyone impacted by Hurricane Irma.
