After entering the game at Syracuse with an ankle injury already, Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant sustained a scary hit Friday night in the first half, being knocked unconscious on the play.
After feeling pressure, Bryant tried to scramble out of the pocket and was caught by an Orange defensive lineman, who slammed Bryant to the turf.
As seen in the video, Bryant appears to be out cold following the sack, laying on his side on the Carrier Dome turf while being attended to by training staff.
After being helped off the field, Bryant did not return to the game. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney then said in an interview at halftime that Bryant had been diagnosed with a concussion.
Dabo tells me Kelly Bryant has a concussion. #CLEMvsSYR #clemvscuse
