The Wolverine Lounge's Brandon Justice first reported that Drevno, who was Michigan's offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for the past three years, was resigning from his position on Jim Harbaugh's staff. Drevno's rumored next destination is Vanderbilt, where his son recently joined the program as a preferred walk-on.
Warinner, who was an assistant on Urban Meyer's staff for the first five years of Meyer's Ohio State tenure, was hired by Michigan in January as a senior offensive analyst, but now appears to be in line for a more significant role with the Wolverines.
The Wolverines also recently hired former Florida coach Jim McElwain as wide receivers coach, making McElwain a potential candidate to take over Drevno's responsibilities as offensive coordinator.
