Chris Webber, who once led Michigan to back-to-back national championship appearances before NCAA mandated a 10-year dissociation period due to ties to disgraced booster Ed Martin, will return to Ann Arbor this fall as an honorary football captain for a yet-to-be disclosed game.
Jim Harbaugh extended an invite to the leader of the infamous Fab Five leader, and Webber accepted Friday afternoon while both appeared for a charity benefit on WTKA's "The M Zone."
“I’m just proud to have been a Wolverine throughout my time there, and more importantly, proud of my association with great men and great organizations like Michigan From the Heart where we can make a big impact,” Webber said on the show.
