Folks, being a mascot ain't always fun and games.
Chip the Buffalo found that out the hard way on Saturday afternoon when he had to be carted off the field after accidentally pelting himself in the groin with a t-shirt cannon.

For a second, it looked like an attempt at comedy, but then our furry friend keeled over never got up, which is a classic indication of a sort of sickening pain common to injuries of those sort.
Chip required medical attention on the sideline, and had to be carted off the field, but hilariously never removed his costume or broke character, even waving to fans as the cart drove him across the field.
Something you don't see every day: Chip the Buffalo's t-shirt gun malfunctioned and he had to be carted off the field! Never took his head off though... respect the commitment #footballguy pic.twitter.com/qi0lrPM4Dk
