Rejoice: Three North Side Ramps on I-270 Will Open This Week

North side commuters, your long traffic nightmare may be coming to an end.

The Ohio Department of Transportation announced plans to open three ramps - two of them brand new – on the I-270/SR 315/US 23 interchange later this week, weather permitting. The ramps opening are:

  • I-270 east to US 23, a new ramp that goes over SR 315
  • SR 315 south to I-270 east, a new ramp called the “Shepherd's Hook”
  • I-270 east to SR 315 north

By 5 a.m. Thursday, the ramp from I-270 to US 23 will re-open. The two new ramps are scheduled to open by 5 a.m. Friday.
