I'd heard some Blood Orange before, but recently delved into this album.
I can honestly say it's one of the most unique and intelligent albums I've heard in 5-10-15 years. It encompasses music from Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Michael Jackson, and I'm pretty sure Childish Gambino stole his sound from this dude. I'll also add Tame Impala, Super Furry Animals, Beach Boys, Pat Metheny, obviously hip-hop. Just really has some many different influences, and at the same time, has created his own spin on things.
