Greetings Warriors!

I've suffered from chronic heartburn/GERD since I was in HS (about 20 years), and the PPI's/antacids haven't been cutting it for a while. Things have gone downhill over the course of the last couple of years. I have a visit with a GI doc scheduled in April and I plan on getting an upper endoscopy. I intend on following the advice/recommendations of the medical professionals but I've spent a considerable amount of time researching options and learning about what's out there (LINX, TIF, Nissen etc..)

I was just curious if there were any Warriors out there who had the Nissen fundoplicaton done (pretty sure that's what will be recommended to me) and feels comfortable sharing their experience. I'm aware that individual results can vary significantly and I've seen some statistics on the success rate, side effects etc.. Again, I plan on following what the doctor recommends based on my specific needs, but would love to hear from someone who has actually had it done. If that person is you, please respond!
