My mom is a youthful 80!

She’s in Florida of course and wants to buy a new car. Told her now is the time - end of month and end of year is best time.

Is this still accurate?

 I’m pushing her toward a Prologue or CRV.

Any car folks have advice on any of this? And advice on smaller SUV:wagon type cars?
