Clemson starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence and his girlfriend had opened a GoFundMe account to aid those affected by the coronavirus. They had raised over $2,500 before the NCAA informed Clemson that the page had to be shut down due to it being a "violation of NCAA guidelines".
EDIT: The NCAA has since released a statement claiming they were not the ones to shut Lawrence's fundraiser down.
