First, I'd just like to say that I am almost (if not fully) heartbroken that OSU will not be chasing a national championship this fall. I just have to accept it at this point. As a result, I have a couple of thoughts on what to do this fall to pass the time.
1. We live in Vegas, so I'm going to load up the kids, wife and dog and see the intermountain west: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Tahoe. We will make weekend trips.
2. I'm going to throw myself (and my money LOL) into my car. Since my car is pretty much built how I want it from a power perspective (dynos at over 500 hp) I am going to work on making it more "balanced" for the road course. I already have some suspension modifications but I'm going to add new rubber and lighter wheels. I also swapped to a short throw shifter and lighter clutch pedal a few weeks ago and I'm dying to get on the road course. FYI its a 2018 Mustang 5.0, which is a great platform to build from with the Coyote engine. And it is inexpensive...well, compared to an exotic, Corvette, or Shelby (I have one of those too).
Go Bucks. This was our year.
So what are your plans now that we aren't going to see Fields and Co. win the natty? (sorry, still very bitter about all of this)
