Per Dan Hope, Clemson OC and RB coach Tony Elliott will be unavailable for the Sugar Bowl.
According to TigerNet "Clemson offensive coordinator Tony Elliott is out for the Sugar Bowl Playoff semifinal matchup with No. 3 Ohio State on Friday due to COVID-19 protocol, TigerNet has confirmed." We are left to wonder how their RB room may be looking in terms of positive cases since they were likely in close proximity with their coach. Just a few weeks ago we were down Hartline, Olave, JSN.
I wish him a speedy recovery. Health is more important than football. I also would think we all want to face them at full strength.
Earlier today ESPN had sent out an alert that said 'College Football Playoff sets makeup dates if COVID-19 forces postponements'
Clemson offensive coordinator and running backs coach Tony Elliott will be unavailable for the Sugar Bowl and will not travel with the team to New Orleans today, Clemson just announced.
