I'm finding solace not in optimism for OUR team, but in seeing literally every other highly ranked team struggle as well.

Bama barely won and was outgained by Florida by over 100 yards.  Clemson barely beat Georgia fucking Tech, was outgained by them, and needed a goal line stand to win.  Oklahoma barely beat Nebraska.  Notre Dame has looked their usual levels of shit, barely beating a winless FSU team, and barely beating a Toledo team that just got smoked by mighty Colorado State.  Georgia didn't score an offensive touchdown against Clemson.  Oregon barely beat Fresno State.  UCLA actually DID lose to Fresno State.  Iowa, despite probably looking most impressive on final score alone, has had their usual struggles on offense and can't expect to just have their defense win every game for them.  A&M barely beat Colorado, who just lost 30-0 to Minny.  UC was on their way to getting boat-raced by a hoosier team that has the worst QB in the entire Big Ten before a BS targeting call completely changed the momentum of the game.  Penn State struggled against Wisconsin, but managed to survive because of a +3 turnover ratio, despite only having 11 first downs throughout the entire game and possessing the ball for only 17 minutes to Wisconsin's 43.  

My point is that literally EVERY team in the top 10 and beyond has had their struggles.  We are still only 3 games into the season.  There's no denying that our Buckeyes have A LOT of problems that need to be addressed as the season goes, but let's not forget that growing pains occur in other teams as well.  Let's just hope we can right the ship as the season moves forward.
