Yesterday, Buckeyes17, created a forum post with the question “What College Football Team(s) Do You Hate The Most Outside of B1G Teams?” and it got me thinking sort of the opposite – What College Football Teams/Fanbases do you find the most tolerable (or low key may root for) for whatever reason?

I’ll start with a few:

UNC – when I was a younger kid, I was already a hardcore Buckeye (via my father) and wanted a team ‘of my own’ and flipped the tv on and saw some team in baby blue playing Michigan. I already hated Michigan so I decided to cheer for the team in blue – ended up being Chris Webber’s infamous time-out game too. As a result, I also began to follow their football team as well - never been crazy good but still. I almost went there for undergrad and the decision came down to OSU and UNC and I chose to stay in the home state!

Arkansas – I went to the Sugar Bowl back in 2011 and the fans there were incredible. I was expecting them to be rude and everyone was friendly and some of us all ended up going to a bunch of the same bars. For the game, there were a few Arkansas fans around us and they were all very cool the entire game.

Rutgers – Again, tying into their fans, I think they have been among the more chill group I have ever been around. I also don't find the team as a threat at all. Mind you, this is just my experience within Columbus but never had a bad time around them. Also, I find myself low-key rooting for Schiano to do well – except against us. The same can be said about Hafley at BC (mainly just want him to stick it to Dabo)

Anyone playing TSUN, Clemson, ND, Duke, Texas – just because those are all of the teams I hate.

Look forward to reading your responses and why! Go Bucks!

Update - adding in Iowa because I forgot about the wave. That makes me smile every damn time and I would love to go there firsthand and experience it.
