With all the discussion about 6, 8, and 12 team playoffs, I have longed for a proposal that makes the bowl system relevant again.

I initially loved the idea of an 8 team playoff with first round games being hosted by the higher seed at home stadiums. I have since come off that idea and want a system that makes bowl games relevant again.
