Just got off phone with friend as I was asking about who will play in Miami in one of the Semis.  He said Alabama chose Dallas last year; it was their option.

I told him it appears that #1 vs #4 will be in Hard Rock/Orange Bowl this season, but he's claiming he still thinks #1 gets to choose.

Does anyone know?
