This is as wide open a Heisman race as we've seen in recent times. There's no clear cut frontrunner as there is in many years, leaving us to speculate who will take home the hardware. Let's do some comparing:

C.J. Stroud: 235/355 passing, 66.2% completion, 3,340 yards, 37 touchdowns, 6 interceptions.

Caleb Williams: 296/448 passing, 65.8% completion, 4,075 yards, 37 touchdowns, 4 interceptions.

Blake Corum: 247 carries, 1,463 yards, 18 touchdowns

Bryce Young: 230/359 passing, 64.1% completion, 3,007 yards, 27 touchdowns, 5 interceptions.

Max Duggan*: 221/332 passing, 3,070 yards, 29 touchdowns, 3 interceptions.
* Still one game remaining.

These are the five likely favorites. If Max Duggan had a great game tomorrow vs. a top-ten team in Kansas State, he might generate some buzz right before the ballots are cast.

Me personally, I still have Caleb Williams as the favorite. While he did lose tonight, he still put up good numbers with only one turnover, while visibly injured. It's uncommon for a player to win the Heisman after a loss, especially in the modern era, though it isn't unprecedented. Lamar Jackson lost his final two games in 2016 to Houston and Kentucky, and still won the award.
