I'm happy Ohio State got itself into playoff contention. One horrendous half of team football away from being undefeated, at this point. I think Ohio State has some flaws that will be hard to correct in the month before the playoffs begin, but I'm not going to spend my time obsessing on flaws I have no control over trying to correct.
In the bowl game or playoff game/games I'm going to focus on enjoying watching Buckeye players compete against the best of the best.
Wollowing in misery about team shortcomings has been done on this site's forums for 7 straight days, and frankly, I can't take anymore pissypants talk.
I'm excited to watch Marvin Harrison Jr run routes against an SEC defense, I want to see Stroud get another chance to run Ryan Day's offense infront of a sold out Stadium. I want to see Chop give it his best running against an elite defensive front 7. I want to see Lathom Ransom come up in run support, Eichenbergh diagnose an unfolding play, JTT attempt to do something amazing.
Will they come up short as a team, and lose? Maybe....odds are against them.....but I don't care.
Id love to see them become National champs, but more so, I'm looking forward to watching them compete at the highest level. They are Buckeyes and I'm a Buckeye till I die.
I'm not going to wollow over something that isn't there, I'm going to enjoy what is there.
Bowl season is fun, it is meant as a reward for an above average season. If you make it about something more than having fun, you are creating your own pit of misery.
Looking Forward to Watching Buckeye Players Compete This Post Season.
