The only explanation that makes any sense to me at all is that they are all awarding him for such an amazing season LAST season.  This year’s stats are literally lapped by his stats last season. Every other athlete that was his competition have significantly better stats for the season. Yet he wins all 4 major defensive awards? How? Why? He’s SOOO talented he doesn’t have to make many plays! Just lead Bama to one of its worst defenses in the Saban era.
