I’m not a Deion Sanders as Coach fan. He was a phenomenal player, but I think he’s terrible as a coach. Just want that full transparency out there first. Now that’s out of the way…..

Yes, the offensive line is pretty bad. But these are all guys that he brought in after he booted the previous players.
Additionally, while the offensive line is bad, his son is incredibly poor in the pocket, holds the ball way too long, and is probably just as responsible for about half the sacks he takes.
It’s a little sad, but unsurprising, that Deion went straight to “get rid of them” instead of “coach them up and develop them.” So my larger question is, why would any offensive lineman want to play for him after this comment? And if you were a current one, why would you have any interest in blocking for Sanders now?
Maybe it’s “motivational,” but Deion continues to seem to shirk accountably for the team and coaching staff he assembled.
What am I missing? Why would anyone want to go play for that?
