One aspect about the kind of punishment that TTUN might receive from the NCAA/B1G is how the gambling industry might be able to influence everything.
The last thing Vegas wants to see is schools thinking they can pull these kinds of actions, putting their bottom line at risk, and walk away with minimal consequences.
The NCAA/B1G will never admit it openly, but I think they’re very concerned about drawing the ire of the gambling industry over not being seen as doing enough to protect the integrity of the games if they let TTUN skate away cheaply on this one.
