According to Pete Thamel (Via Twiter), The Big Ten is expected to forbid Harbaugh from coaching during games for the regular season, though he is expected to be allowed to coach during the week. Along with this, it has been revealed that the NCAA is expected to expedite its investigation into the Michigan Football program, meaning we could also be getting a judgment from the NCAA much sooner than expected. While this punishment isn't exactly what we Buckeye fans were hoping for, this is a decent middle ground that the Big Ten can point to as respecting due process, all the while the NCAA's own investigation looms.
