As the Patron Saint of Michigan Football, St Stalions is esteemed by devotees as a Martyr, Miracle-worker, Sacred Text Writer, and Gold-standard Archetype of the lofty Michigan Man.
Further afield, St Stalions is venerated throughout the B1G (and much of college football) as "a blessing in disguise" and the most prominent catalyst behind The Great Reformation--a deep-cutting purge levied against arrogance, brazen corruption and wanton immortality within one of it's disgraced and ever-tarnished member institutions, who shall remain unnamed (with special exception given for imprecatory curses and blissful moments of unbridled shadenfruede).
This Great Reformation began--and is celebrated annually--on November 10th to mark the day when St Stalions' legacy compelled St Petitti the Just to bring his B1G hammer and publically nail his lengthy thesis of accusations and punishments to a certain big house door. The stongly worded notice helped significantly to move the needle of public opinion, and, although disciplinary action was slight and symbolic at first, eventually the impermissible acts were met by blistering policies of retribution.
Each year, on this illustrious, felicitous day, may we all memorialize the historic deeds of St Stalions--the man who made all this possible.
Happy St Stalions Day!
