Since it's a bye week, it's the perfect time to do a mid-season check-in on the cheater up north. We will review all offensive position groups and provide some interesting stats.

QB: During the off-season, Sherrone Moore decided the QB competition was between Alex Orji, who never threw a pass last year, Jack Tuttle, an Indiana transfer who received 7th-year eligibility, and Davis Warren, a heartwarming walk-on story. Reporters are split on whether Sherrone is regretting not taking a transfer, or passing the blame game.

* Davis Warren recorded a perfect performance against Arkansas State where all 14 passes were caught including three interceptions. He was promptly benched afterward.
* Alex Orji started against USC and MINN, going 17/30, 118 yards and somehow winning both games. He owes Lincoln Riley a Christmas card for winning a game with 32 yards passing. (Navy win against FAU with 25 passing yards slightly edge this feat)
* Jack Tuttle doubled Alex Orji season passing stats in two games with 306 yards, but has a 2:1 INT to TD ratio. He's the best QB unless EA Sports phantom player Alex Boston materializes out of thin air.

The QB group is currently 128 yards/game 6 TD/9 INT, which is 129/134 teams. This sits right between Army 107 yards/game (8 TD/0 INT) and Navy 158 yards/game (11 TD/ 2 INT). The fans are begging for the triple-option power run.

RB: The strength of the team based on Sherrone Moore's play call last season, and the hype from EA NCAA 25.

* Donavon Edwards succeeded in becoming the face of the 2024 team. His EA  91 OVR stat is the same as Desmond Howard, but that's where the similarity ends. His season stats 65 yards/game. Damn that EA game cover curse.
* Kalel Mullings started at 81 and EA bumped him to 88 OVR, since he's the reason Michigan has a winning record. His 676 yards are 53% of total rushing yards and 31% of total offense.

WR/TE: The woes of this position group can be blamed on the poor QB play. Kendrick Bell should consider switching back to playing the QB.

* Colston Loveland is unguardable unless he fumbles the ball. He only played 5 games, and his 344 yards are 38% of Michigan's receiving yards.
* Semaj Morgan, Tyler Morris, Fredrick Moore, Kendrick Bell, the 4 best wide receivers combine for 264 yards on the season. Carnell Tate, the third-best Ohio State wide receiver, has 232 yards total.
