I have always followed Buckeye recruiting pretty well, thinking that these are the guys who will shape the program for the next 3- 4 years and disappointed when they lost out on a top recruit. Now?, what's the point? In this landscape you need to re-recruit them every offseason so they don't transfer out, and if they do just plug the hole the same way. Basically, just reset every year. And with NIL it's just a crap$hoot. It's no wonder now why these players list "top 20 teams of interest"... just creates more bidders. Yet all these sport publications still post evaluations for freshmen in HS. Again, what's the point? Like I asked in the title, do you still have as must interest in recruiting as you did before this NIL and transfer portal invasion? I can't say I do, and I miss that!
