Not exactly a who's who of teams to watch but still some interesting football.
First game finally over. Toledo beats Pitt 46-44 in 6 OTs. Toledo thought they had won the game twice before they finally won it. One winning score negated by a holding penalty, second one was when they thought they stopped Pitt only to have replay correctly overturn the call on the field. Runner was not down before the ball crossed the goal line.
Thought it was interesting that Pitt's coach Narduzzi continued to show how much of an asshole he is when instead of shaking hands with the Toledo coach he just went directly to the locker room. He signaled for everyone to head to the locker room but his players and assistants showed they had class and went out and shook hands and talked with the Toledo coaches and players. But I guess when you thought you were hot shit when you started 7-0 then lost your last six games and get exposed as nothing more than a mediocre coach that is what you get. Betting that is a job opening coming soon.
Current game is Rutgers and Kansas State. Rutgers up 27-17 at the half. Avery Johnson looks like a stud but doesn't play like one. 9-17, 104 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT.
Last game today is Arkansas State and Bowling Green. Another chance for the MAC.
