I kept hearing after the scUM loss that from a Playoff perspective Ohio State might have been better off not going to Indy to play an extra game and then after yesterday's beatdown now the talk is that Oregon being the number 1 seed and having the bye and a longer layover from their last game screwed them and made them look like the much less prepared team to take the field. Considering we saw the same thing happen to the 2006 Ohio State team when they played Florida after nearly an entire month off I think there is some validity to having too much time off from actually playing football damaging the psych of the team during a championship run.
