Garrett Stepien of Buckeye Sports Bulletin spoke to Makayla Waterman today and provided an update on her condition after suffering a neck injury last game:
Just spoke with Ohio State junior forward Makayla Waterman. After her injury scare at Wisconsin, Waterman is out of a neck brace and said she has no structural damage to her neck. Obviously not a participant of practice today, but shes optimistic shell play again this season.

It appears she's rebounding nicely.
