Celebrate, ladies and gentlemen! Ohio State has a victory over the Wolverines, and all is right with the world. The sun will rise once more over an undefeated Ohio State in this heated rivalry of varsity lacrosse programs. Defense was the name of the game, and the Ohio State defense won out. Despite a very inefficient (again) offensive game, the Buckeyes held That Team to just 23 shots, and allowed sniper Brent Noteworthy to score just once. Tre Leclaire led the way for the Buckeyes on offense, scoring 3 goals on 9 shots. As a team, the Buckeyes nearly doubled the Wolverines in shots, 44-23. If the Buckeyes were even 10% more efficient shooting, their offense would be on par with last year's. Justin Inacio went a sparkling 10-14 at the face-off X, and the Buckeyes upped their EMO game, converting 2 of their 5 chances. Though far from perfect, the Buckeyes did more than enough to get a great W! Up next is Maryland in College Park.
