No, it's not a dream.  After going into an 0-2 hole, Ohio State has reeled off 3 straight wins to advance to the Big Ten tournament, keeping their NCAA hopes alive.

In defeating #9 Rutgers, Ohio State finally showed it can play ball at a high level for a sustained amount of time.

The keys to this resurgence are numerous.  First and foremost, the upperclassmen are finally producing.  After 10 games of doing nearly nothing, Colin Chell and Jack Jasinski have come alive and taken command of the offense.

Colin Chell had 2 goals and 2 assists today, nearly matchimg his total from last week.  Jasinski sunk back to earth a bit from his 7 point outing against Maryland, but still had a goal and an assist for the Buckeyes.

Second, Jackson Reid is playing out of his mind.  For the second week in a row, Reid recorded a hat trick.

The Canadian lefty is absolutely killing it, and should be a formidable partner with Leclaire at attack.  Teams are shutting Tre off, but Reid is making them pay.  Watch this pay dividends moving forward.

Thirdly, Justin Inacio is a full on monater facing off.  The true freshman went 18 of 21 at the faceoff X, and it wasn't as close as it sounds.

OSU plays a possession game, and getting the ball back right away is paramount to making that work.  Inacio is filling Withers' shoes with ease.  And he's a FRESHMAN.

Finally, Josh Kirson was a rock today.  9 saves, only 7 goals against.  The entire defense was exceptional in grounding the Knights, but Kirson finally made a stand and looked good.

It was a great game for the Buckeyes, and gives them all the momentum going into a rematch against Hopkins.  The NCAA tourney is in sight!
