The Chicago Sky announced their opening day roster today and former Buckeye guard Linnae Harper was on the list, making the team as an undrafted free agent. Her former teammate was not so fortunate, as the Sky also waived former Ohio State guard Ameryst Alston.
The roster moves mean four former Buckeyes will be on WNBA rosters to start the season. Kelsey Mitchell and Stephanie Mavunga both play for the Indiana Fever while Jantel Lavender is entering her seventh year as a pro with the Los Angeles Sparks.
Katie Smith is also making her head coaching debut this season, taking the reins of the New York Liberty.
