Wow is all I have to say.
This is public information, but I thought I would share if anyone was interested. Barton is a former player, but my god is he a piece of crap.

Attached is the 68 page plea that Givler filed against Barton. Sorry to those who joined the Scoop and had these experiences.
Some highlights
- Barton took money from the Scoop Bank Account ($7,500) to purchase a vehicle
- Listed Ricart Automotive and other companies as sponsors without any proof of payment
- Says that Barton made a deal to get personal gain on his own vehicle
- Barton and Nevada both published false reports about practices and the football team
- Barton kept all the revenue from Buckeye Scoop Merchandise for himself
- Nevada made multiple withdrawals from the Scoop Bank Account
- Changed the billing cycle for the scoop to 28 days instead of every month to generate more revenue
- Much more in the first couple pages
It doesn't say anything about the player being paid, just that the two put Scoop's credentials in jeopardy with Ohio State Athletics. Paying Roen McCulllough for insider info is something I certainly don't doubt.
