Been pretty quiet for the last few weeks since the fall season closed, but now we have juicy details for the 2022 season. Schedule is here!
And it is a BANGER.
Following the opener against Detroit Mercy and an early renewal of the Cleveland State rivalry, Ohio State goes on a BRUTAL road trip.
Games against North Carolina, Harvard, and Cornell all come on the road.
That's followed by an insane stretch at home of Denver, Notre Dame, and Dartmouth. Dartmouth isn't a power right now, but they're also no slouch. Then comes the Big Ten schedule.
Rutgers away kicks off conference play, then Penn State and Hopkins at home, followed by a trip to College Park to face the Terps.
Then THE game comes back to Columbus on April 23rd to end the season.
Make no mistake, this may be the toughest schedule in the country. Ohio State plays probably four top-5 teams in the upcoming season (UNC, ND, Cornell, and Maryland), with top 10 candidates littered throughout.
This schedule is eye-opening in a good way, and hopefully reflects the confidence of the staff in the guys they have. Full schedule below.
