After a failed attempt against BYU for another comeback, the Buckeyes finished the Snowbird Classic at 3-1. They now turn to a three game series at Texas State this weekend. Texas State comes in at 4-1 on the season, going 3-1 against Utah Valley and beating Wichita State. According to the schedule on ohiostatebuckeyes.com, the games will start at 4:00pm ET (Fri), 3:30pm ET (Sat) and 1:00pm ET (Sun)

Game 1 update: Not a good start at all. Blown out of the ball park 9-1, weren't able to get anything going offensively, and 5 run 5th and 3 run 8th innings doomed us defensively. Looking for a bounce back Saturday afternoon

Game 2 update: little bit better of a performance. Still not good defensively, giving up 8 runs, but the offense did a little better, getting 5 runs on 9 hits. However, the story of the offense was leaving 11 on base. Leaving that many stranded will not win you many ball games. Looking to avoid the sweep Sunday afternoon.
